Naples is a pleasant resort with many similarities to other Caribbean towns. In inland Naples, on the way from Miami, lie the Everglades which you can visit from the Everglades Parkway. This road is also called ”Alligator Alley” because the most popular ”inhabitants” in the Everglades are alligators. The Everglades are a unique reserve. Situated opposite Fort Meyers are the side by side islands of Sanibel and Captiva, offering magnificent sandy beaches where you can find beautiful seashells and fauna. The islands have preserved their original character due to strict laws concerning new construction. Opposite the coast and Naples is Marco Island, a holiday island resort with top quality facilities, immense beaches, excellent restaurants and the list goes on. It’s also an ideal base to discover the Ten Thousand Islands.
