Accessible from Girona. Motorway exit Blanes-Malgrat. Railway station. Village with 18'444 inhabitants, in the north-eastern part, directly by the sea. In the resort: supermarket, shops, grocery, bakery, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, disco, casino, cinema. Besides: pharmacy, doctor.
