Small, busy town with 13'500 inhabitants, in the southern part of the region, directly by the sea, 95 km south-west from Ålborg, 180 km south-west from Skagen. In the resort: shopping centre, supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Thisted Brewery, Isbjerg, Nationalpark Thy 15 km.

Summer

Beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 1 km from the resort. Sandy beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 7 km from the resort. Sea water outdoor swimming pool 1 km. Golf course 18 hole 16 km. Minigolf. Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. In north-western Jutland, all the way from Skagen in the north to Agger in the south you can experience some of the finest, whitest and broadest sandy beaches in Northern Europe. Small, picturesque holiday towns are situated all the way along the coast. Some places it is still possible to watch the fishermen as they drag their boats up on the beach, as it has been done for hundreds of years. At Grenen, the northernmost point of Denmark, you can place each of your feet in different oceans, The Skagerak and the Kattegat. Anywhere along the coast you can enjoy some of the most scenic sunsets over the North Sea.

Dejligt sommerhus. Dejlig grund og beliggenhed. Brændeovnen havde desværre ringe effekt og vi manglede en del køkkengrej.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr geschm... Thomas K.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet, es war in hervorragendem Zustand und äußerst sauber und gepflegt. Das Haus ist vollkommen ruhig gelegen und bietet einen wunderschönen Blick in die Landschaft vom Esszimmer aus. Man kann auch vor dem Haus sitzen und fühlt sich wohl, da von allen Seiten Sichtschutz besteht. Besondere Extras sind die Sauna und der Fitnessraum sowie die geräumige Abstellkammer mit Garderobe. Wir haben schon mehr als ein halbes Dutzend Mal in Klitmøller Urlaub gemacht und können sagen, dass dieses Haus eines der besten und schönsten war.
