26 km north-west of Pieksämäki. Lake Vanajajärvi 25 m (length 9 km, breadth 1,5 km), shallow water, firm sand/gravel bottom, pier and rowing boat. Log/wooden cabin 1997, living room/kitchen with convertible sofa, bedroom with 2 beds, sleeping alcove (curtain) with convertible sofa, sauna, dressing room, washing room (toilet), veranda. Internet connection for an additional fee (contact the owner). Heikinniemi is a nice rental cottage on a large lawn plot. Possibility for horse riding 25 km. Häkärinteet Ski Resort 15 km, Pieksämäki 26 km, Jyväskylä 70 km, Kuopio 90 km, Mikkeli 100 km, Imatra 206 km, Helsinki 307 km. Please note: it is forbidden to bring hot tub to the cottage. Charging electric and hybrid cars at the cottage is prohibited.

Das Ferienhaus hat unseren Erwartungen absolut entsprochen. Die Einrichtung ist skandinavisch schlicht, aber es ist alles vorhanden, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Lage am See ist traumhaft, die Ruhe und die Möglichkeiten zu saunieren und zu schwimmen sind sehr erholsam. Man kann dort Finnland pur erleben.
