85 km west of Helsinki, there is a pond in the yard, distances to actual swimming beaches: public beach 600 m (Spa Päiväkumpu's beach), lake Puujärvi 1.8 km away. Upstairs apartment in log villa, 1896, completely renovated 2013, downstairs veranda / vestibule (on the right side of the house) with sofa area, from there stairs to upstairs. Upstairs: living room with sofa-bed for two, kitchen and dining area, next to dining area there is 2 mattresses, bedroom with double bed + extra beds, bedroom with two beds (low ceiling) and small bed room (low ceiling, access only via previous bedroom), wc shower and bathtub. Note! There is no sauna in the apartment. Guests have access to a separate sauna (electric stove) and a shower in the barn building, which also has a small chicken barn. There is also room with fire place in the barn building. Sauna turns must be booked from the owner in advance. There is a smoke sauna and 2 outside tubs (hot and cold water tub) for rent. By the smokesauna there is also a barbecue hut and big terrace. The rent for smokesauna, tubs, barbecue hut and terrace is 350 €+ VAT / one time. The rent should be paid by cash on the spot. Sauna turns and tub turns must be booked from the owner in advance. There are also other recreational facilities, which are available by separate agreement/price: Banquet attic, where also kitchen and wc (suitable for max 100 people parties), Gallery Vanha Passi/ Riemuliiteri, where also kitchen and wc, mat hall. In every facility there is possibility to accommodate people by separate agreement / price. Mattresses for about 30 people (over 10 cm thick mattresses). The owner of the place lives downstairs. All the buildings in the estate are restored according to old log building traditions. The estate's courtyard with its old trees is unique, both in summer and in winter. Vanha Passi estate is one of the Karjalohja´s oldest estates. The log villa was built in 1860, Villa Vanha Passi 1896, barn and other buildings in the 1920s. The owner of the place lives downstairs and will be happy to tell the history of the state and future plans for guests. There is for rent a row boat and 2 canoes which can be transported to the lakes nearby. In summer, guests can use a trampoline, a table tennis table and bicycles. Also camp fire place and several gas grills on the yard. Good opportunities for outdoor activities all year round. Spa Hotel Päiväkumpu is within walking distance. There available wide range of services. The estate uses also geothermal energy (four 200 m deep holes), solar energy and wind power systems and electricity-storing batteries. Note! Pets are allowed only by separate payment. Pet fee is 30 €.
