Location Description Marina di Modica

Marina di Modica belongs, territorially, to the nearby municipality of Modica and is above all a summer holiday resort. The numerous bars and shops remain largely closed during the winter and the low season and the village is considerably depopulated compared to the summer. For the less fond of crowds and mass tourism, this is the best period to spend their holidays or days there, away from the chaos of the city, in complete tranquility and with a much higher and more comfortable temperature than in the city, even in the middle of winter . The small bay of Marina di Modica is considered a small paradise for surfers and windsurfers, thanks to its special exposure to favorable wind conditions. The most important nearby cities are Scicli at 10 km and Pozzallo at 5 km. The town is served by charging stations for electric cars.
