Location Description Noto

Noto is a pretty Sicilian town with about 30,000 inhabitants. It is located 6 km from the south coast and 30 km from Syracuse. It is recognized as the capital of the Sicilian Baroque and in 2002 Noto was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In fact, there are numerous architectural and historical testimonies: called "the stone garden", thanks to its sumptuous palaces and monumental churches built with richly carved local golden stone. Excursions to the archaeological town of Eloro (8 km) and to ancient Noto (16 km), where you can visit the archaeological finds, the necropolis, the eighteenth-century noble villas. The town is served by charging stations for electric cars.

Summer

In summer, the beautiful sea of its coast can be combined with a cultural stay, with golden sand beaches. At the end of May Noto turns into a magical carpet of flowers: "the Infiorata di Noto" an event born in 1980 and known all over the world.

Very beautifull and quiet place to stay! The owner was very friendly and the appartment was clean and tidy. It had everything you need, airco, wasmachine, big Kitchen! The terrace was great and had a beautifull view. A great place to relax! Super choice!
