In the centre of Venezia, in the district San Polo, in a sunny position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, directly by the canal. Heating available only from 15.Oct. - 15.Apr.. Shop 50 m, grocery, restaurant 100 m, railway station "Santa Lucia" 500 m, ferry "Vaporetto stop San Tomà" 300 m. Nearby attractions: Basilica dei Frari 50 m, Ponte di Rialto 900 m, Piazza San Marco 1.4 km. Please note: not suitable for children under 12 years.

Location Description Venice

The city of canals with its timeless charm with its 118 islands, between the sea and the lagoon, divided by the famous Grand Canal. The San Marco district is the heart of Venice and Piazza San Marco is considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world. And then the Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs, the gondolas. The Lido of Venice, at the south-western end of which stands the ancient fort Alberoni, is 12 km long and is one of the most elegant and renowned beaches in Italy. Fine sand beach. Numerous entertainment. Casino'. Regular connections with Venice and Lido of Venice (ferry). For those arriving by car there are large parking lots at the "Tronchetto" or in Piazzale Roma and from here it is possible to reach Venice directly by boat. La casa è molto grande e collocata in centro di fronte ad una chiesa bellissima. Il proprietario gentilissimo. Siamo stati molto bene. Avrebbe bisogno di maggiore manutenzione: la tv che non si vedeva, il saliscendi della doccia rotto.

The apartment is well place in the centre of Venice, opposite the Frari Church. It is well-furnished in an old house, with its own atmosphere and character. There was everything in it that we needed, with lots of information about the apartment and its location : F., who greeted us, was charming and helpful. We had an excellent week in the city.

My wife and adult son stayed at Al Fogher. We felt so fortunate - such a better way to visit Venice for a week of mixed work/tourism than a hotel! The apartment was clean and comfortable, once we made sure we knew how to work the A/C. If we go back next year, we would be thrilled to stay here again.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, gute Ausstattung, tolle Lage. Sig. Franco, der sich um die Wohnung kümmert, ist ein sehr freundlicher, recht gut deutsch sprechender Herr. Wohnung hat zwei Nachteile; - kein Balkon (ist zu verschmerzen) - in unmittelbarer Nähe Bar mit Außenbetrieb, sehr laut bis in die frühen Morgenstunden. Mieter sollten lärmunempfindlich sein.

Die Wohnung liegt in einem lebhaften Quartier. Interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen sehr nah. Leider sind zwei Bars direkt nebenan. Dadurch ist es in der Nacht extrem laut.
