Although we did email details of our Saturday arrival, we were told by reception staff that we were expected on Friday ?. We arrived after the Reception had closed but were welcomed and handed the Keys and welcome pack by the staff in the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and use of the Swimming Pool and recreation facilaties
The description is incorrect. The third bedroom is actually the size of a small wardrobe! Hardly a metre wide. There was no ladder to reach the top bunk, and unless someone could lift you up to bed and lift you down again in the morning it was impossible, while you were there the safety rail on the top bunk was loose, so would have given you no safety. The twin beds in bedroom 2 were very narrow. There was a tiny cupboard between them. The bottom of this cupboard had not been cleaned and had sweet wrappers and other rubbish there. Under the mattress of one of those beds was an empty perfume bottle. In the 1st bedroom again two very narrow single beds. One had to be pushed up to the radiator to make sure there was enough room to pass between the beds. The wardrobes there were of a good size, but one of them was taken up by the proprietor's cleaning materials, including a vacuum cleaner and sweeping brushes. It meant that the wardrobe could not be used. The floor of this wardrobe had not been cleaned for some time. In the kitchen also one cupboard was taken up by cleaning materials. The bottom of the cupboard was also not clean. The mattresses needed cleaning. The duvets were dirty We ordered 5 sets of linen on arrival there were only 3, so we had to go and ask for more. By that time the office was shut and someone from the restaurant found some for us. The grounds were lovely and although we didn't use it, the pool and changing rooms also looked good. It was very disappointing, we expect to find clean accommodation in Holland and have always done so in the past. Unfortunately no-one seemed to know how we could connect to the internet. These days when Wi-Fi is provided free even at service stations , it should be provided free when customers are paying for accommodation at the park There was no clear sign for the driver at the entrance to indicate whether to proceed to the stop barrier arm or to stop at the car park and walk to the office to get the pass which will open the stop barrier. It did create confusion upon arrival.
