Location Description Llançà

Small fishing village, in the north-eastern part of the region, in a convenient position, 24 km north-east from Figueras, 65 km north from Girona, 160 km north-east from Barcelona. In the resort: shops, restaurant, bar, disco, attractions. First mentioned in the 10th century, many cultures have left their mark on the villa and its surrounding area, reflected in the impressive roman monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes. Today, Llanca has kept its fishing harbour with its daily fish market. Important info regarding tourist tax: this is charged per person/per day, with a maximum of 7 days stay and children under 16 yrs free of charge.
