In the house: central heating system. In Winter: please take snow chains, 4x4 car recommended in winter. Stepped path to the house. Shopping centre 2.6 km, restaurant 2.6 km, bicycle rental 3 km, 30 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Dec.-March/June-Oct." 50 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 2.6 km, outdoor swimming pool 3.5 km, indoor swimming pool 2.7 km. Golf course (9 hole) 4.5 km, tennis 4 km, minigolf 2.9 km, sports centre 2.7 km, gondola lift 3.2 km, ski rental 2.7 km, ski bus stop 50 m, sled run 10 m, cross country ski track 4 km, children's playground 2.7 km. Paragliding, summer tobbogan run, long 725 m climbing park, high rope course. 1 mountain lift, 3 gondola lifts, 300 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing, children's hiking paths. 100 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Ski-region Grindelwald. Mountain lifts, gondola lifts, chair lifts, drag lifts, 1 children's ski lift. 51 ski runs, total length 213 km (35 % easy, 45 % intermediate, 15 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school, ski kindergarten from 3 years old. 30 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 80 km. Toboggan runs, partially floodlit. Ice rink, artificial ice rink, curling, indoor curling, curling. Ski bus (free of charge). Further ski-regions: Wengen, Mürren, Schilthorn. Chalet Hobelbank ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen mit einer gigantischen Aussicht auf die schneebedeckten Berge und das gegenüberliegende Dorf. Nachmittags kann man die wunderbare Sonnenterrasse genießen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr komplett, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wenn nochmal Berner Oberland, kommen wir gerne wieder hierher.

we hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in een volledig ingerichte appartement. Het enige minpuntje wat we kunnen bedenken was dat de kraan bij de wastafel een beetje lekte.

Unterkunft war in Ordnung aber in sehr altem Zustand. Steckdosen waren nicht auf internationale Kunden ausgerichtet bzw. es gab keine Adapter. Das Doppelstockbett ist nur für Kinder geeigntet. Personen über 1,80m können dort nur schlecht schlafen. Ausstattung der Küche könnte erneuert werden

Leuk chalet, heeft alles. Ligt op een mooie plek met prachtig uitzicht! Ligt niet in het dorp, maar er gaat een bus, of je kan het lopen.

De eerste 3 dagen was er geen verwarming. De tweede week zijn er renovatiewerken begonnen boven ons met alle gevolgen zoals met een drilboor vloeren uitbreken en dat was verschrikkelijk storend.

Buitenlamp functioneert niet, gevaarlijk met de lange trap. Appartement voor 4 personen is gezien maar 1 slaapkamer met 4 bedden meestal niet geschikt. Koude woning, zelfs in augustus s avonds verwarming nodig, omdat het maar 17 graden binnen is. Bad is erg smal en kort. Water in de wasbak loopt slecht weg. Hal is beperkt voor spullen , als wandelschoenen ed. Zeer zeker niet geschikt voor wintersport met nog veel meer schoenen en kleding. Te weinig kastruimte in slaapkamer. Buitenruimte is goed
