Terrace furniture, deck chairs. Marvellous view of the mountains and Eiger. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, children's high chair, baby cot, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking (roofed). Supermarket 650 m, shopping centre 650 m, restaurant 600 m, bakery 700 m, bicycle rental 900 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Altersheim" 200 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 600 m, outdoor swimming pool 2.5 km, indoor swimming pool 700 m. Well-known, family-friendly holiday resort with 3'800 inhabitants, situated at the foot of a mountain, 20 km south-west from Interlaken. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor aquatic centre, wellness centre, fitness centre, sauna, solarium, massage. Besides: pharmacy, doctor.

Bathing lake, 20 km from the resort. Outdoor swimming pool. Surfing, sailing school, river rafting, canyoning. Tennis (6 outdoor courts), golf course 9 hole, 1 another golf course in 20 km. Minigolf. Riding in Interlaken 20 km. Fitness course. Fishing (permit required). Paragliding, summer tobbogan run, long 725 m climbing park, high rope course. 1 mountain lift, 3 gondola lifts, 300 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing, children's hiking paths. 100 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground.

Ski-region Grindelwald. Mountain lifts, gondola lifts, chair lifts, drag lifts, 1 children's ski lift. 51 ski runs, total length 213 km (35 % easy, 45 % intermediate, 15 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school, ski kindergarten from 3 years old. 30 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 80 km. Toboggan runs, partially floodlit. Ice rink, artificial ice rink, curling, indoor curling, curling. Ski bus (free of charge). Further ski-regions: Wengen, Mürren, Schilthorn. In Winter: please take snow chains.

Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet, alles da was man braucht. Alles top gepflegt und die Vermieterfamilie sehr zuvorkommend. Wir können diese Wohnung wirklich empfehlen. Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt den Ortsbus vor der Türe.

Appartement conforme en tous points à l’annonce, et même davantage (vraies prestations 4* avec plein de petites choses fournies, une entrée - partagée avec les propriétaires occupants, depuis la place de parking couverte - qui permet de se déchausser, une « laundry » avec lave-linge et sèche-linge haut de gamme, …). La literie est excellente, la chambre d’enfants en haut de l’escalier charmante, la salle de douche spacieuse, etc. Le trafic routier est supportable. Et les hôtes sont au top !!!

M. and D. were wonderful hosts and communication with them prior to the visit was very easy and made our arrival completely stress-free. The accommodation is on the ground floor of the chalet with the twin bedroom being upstairs accessible via a spiral staircase. The bedrooms are quite small but worked fine for us and had comfortable beds. The living area is large and very well-equipped with nice quality glassware and there is a cute terrace where you can admire the views of the Eiger.

Moderne und gemütliche Wohnung. Super ausgestattete Küche mit ausreichend Geschirr, Töpfen und Besteck. Schöner Blick auf die Berge von der Terrasse. Man ist spätestens in einer Viertelstunde zu Fuß bei allen Bergbahnen und in 5 Minuten am Bahnhof.

Die Wohnung ist Sehr grosszügig mit viel Platz und moderner Einrichtung. Von der gedeckten Garage kommt man in wenigen Schritten auf einem Boden in die schöne Wohnung. Alles ist sehr sauber. Die Vermieter leben im selben Haus. Sie sind sehr nett und unterstützend. Die Wohnung ist wirklich hervorragend. Auch in Bezug auf die Lage ist die Spitze. Fünf Fussminuten ins Zentrum und Busstation vor dem Haus. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung mit Begeisterung empfehlen.
