Upper floor: 1 room with 1 double bed (1 x 160 cm, length 200 cm), bath/shower/WC. 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), shower/WC. 2 balconies, west facing position. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, hair dryer, logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. No TV.

Shop 1.5 km, supermarket 1.5 km, restaurant 1.2 km, bar 1.5 km, bakery 1.5 km, café 300 m, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 4.5 km, railway station "Wengen" 1.5 km. Cable car 1.5 km, chair lift 250 m, skisport facilities 1.5 km, slopes 250 m. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

1'274 m a.s.l. >>Famous, idyllic, car-free holiday resort with 1'300 inhabitants, on top of a hill, situated at the foot of a mountain, on a plateau with beautiful view, 12 km from Interlaken, 15 km from Grindelwald. In the resort: shops, grocery, bakery, post office, bank, restaurant, night club, cinema. Wellness centre. Besides: doctor. Sights Männlichen, Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, Trümmelbachfälle, Schynige Platte, Harder, First. Access: no access to the resort by car, reachable only by railway. The journey is made by rack railway (extra) from Lauterbrunnen. Parking spaces available at the train station.

Heated outdoor swimming pool. Tennis (2 outdoor courts). Minigolf. Paragliding. Mountain lifts, cableways, hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing, children's hiking paths. Mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground.

Winter

Ski-region Jungfrau-Top Ski Region, total of 43 lifts. Total 213 km ski runs (30 % easy, 50 % intermediate, 20 % difficult), snow park. Ski school (downhill), snowboard school, children's ski school, ski kindergarten. Winter walking paths 50 km. 4 toboggan runs. Artificial ice rink, curling. Free parking space for skis and ski boots at Central Sport.

Plenty of room for our group of 7. The 3 baths made it easy for everyone to get ready in the morning. The view from the balcony is awesome and we didn’t find the walk to Wengen too bad. The day we arrived it was pouring rain and we had our suitcases, so we were able to hire a taxi for $25fr to take us to the condo. Only drawback was lack of supplies: very few towels, 2 dish towels and no paper towels for 7 people for 4 nights, no coffee or salt, no soap in some bathrooms. Had to buy everything.

Wir waren mit der Ferienwohnung Racer‘s Retreat im grossen und ganzen sehr zufrieden. Durch die Vermietung und dass nicht alle Mieter gleich gut Sorge tragen sieht man von Jahr zu Jahr eine gewisse Abnützung, zusammen gewürfeltes Geschirr usw.

Prima huis, in de beschrijving stond duidelijk dat het dorp Wengen auto vrij was. Er stond niet bij dat je met je auto niet bij je huis kon komen.
