"Apt. AZ", 2-room apartment on 1st floor. Comfortable and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with 1 bed (90 cm, length 200 cm), cable TV and flat screen. 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, fondue Set (cheese)). Bath/WC. Underfloor heating. Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful view of the mountains. Facilities: iron. Internet (WiFi). Please note: non-smokers only.


Apartment block "Waldgarten". Above Wengen, 400 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position, 50 m from the skiing area, south facing position. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use). Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket, shopping centre 400 m, restaurant 300 m, bakery 400 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, railway station "Wengen" 400 m, outdoor swimming pool 100 m. Cable car 450 m. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway.

...what to expect in your holiday home?

Dear Holiday Guest,

As you travel you realise that things can be very different from country to country as well as from region to region. This is what makes travelling and holidays so interesting. Differences are also to be expected in holiday homes. The type and quality of furnishings, and the look of the property, are normally in line with local standards.
We can assure you, however, that the home you chose will meet the following minimum requirements, provided that nothing in the brochure is mentioned to suggest otherwise.


What should you expect to find in your holiday home?

  • Private living area, not for use by any other third party
  • Comfortable seating in the living area
  • Dining table with sufficient chairs
  • Cooking facilities with pots and pans (ovens and microwaves available only if mentioned in the description).
  • Fridge
  • Cutlery/crockery


 In Addition

  • Heating is available in properties that are available for rent in the winter. The cost of heating is included unless stated as an extra. In summer resorts, heating or heaters are only available when mentioned in the description and normally costs extra. No heating is available in Italy from approximately mid April to mid October.
  • TVs are only included where indicated in the description. They are usually colour. Black and white TVs are very rare but sometimes are provided and will be shown in the brochure description as «b/w».
  • Fireplaces are for use (unless «ornamental» is mentioned), though firewood normally costs extra, provided it is available, or can be bought locally.
  • “Double bedroom” = 2 separate beds pushed together or 2 single mattresses on a double base. “Room with double bed” = 1 bed for 2 people. Many homes have sofa beds (sometimes described as “double divan”) or pull out beds in the living room.
  • Holiday homes are not normally equipped with kettles and teapots. All homes have a fridge.


 Normal measurements for beds are:

  • Single bed: 190 x 80/90 cm
  • Double bed (1 mattress for 2 people) 190 x 140 cm
  • Double bedroom (2 mattresses) 190 x 80 cm each
  • Bunk beds are more suitable for children and can be quite small.




  • Parking is available when mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental, unless the brochure description says it will be «extra».
  • Public parking is not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee this will always be available.



  • Facilities belonging to the holiday home or the residence, such as swimming pool, play area, tennis court etc. will be mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental unless stated as «extra» in the description.
  • Public facilities (swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants etc.) are not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee these will always be available, particularly in low season.



  • The pet symbol by a property indicates that 1 pet will be permitted. If you wish to take more than 1 pet, you must check with reservations first.


 Weekends and Shortbreaks

  • In low season periods we can book selected properties for short breaks (minimum 3 days) and long weekends. Call your nearest Interhome reservations office to discover which properties are available for less than a week in the resort or city you wish to visit for a few days.

I love this place the only difference is the fact the kettle that was in the apartment didn't connect to the plug as the prongs didn't fit and both nan and myself love our tea so we had to resolve to using a saucepan to boil the water, but apart from that we loved the place

« Good apartment in an excellent location »

Stayed in this apartment for our visit to jungfrau region. The apartment is really spacious and comfortable with an amazing view of jungrau directly from your balcony. It is bit on few mins uphill walk but its worth it given the view. My lazy office body cried at me for the first uphill walk :) Show more but later on it was all fun and habitual. You can take a quick taxi as well but we chose to walk. The interhome staff is really cordial and very helpful. They are true professional and explained every thing quite well. They even tracked and called when I got late to collect keys. One of the guy also came to help us in the evening when we were silly not to find utensils for the kitchen which was in a separate cupboard. Really like the guy helping nature! The only thing I don't like about this trip is the lady in ground floor of chalet wandergald. She seems not to like rental resident and is arrogant and spoiled our mood one day. I have to face her while using laundary washing machine where she resisted and mentioned that rental interhome people can't use washing machine (but I used given I had the key) and was not polite in her conversations. It was my bad luck that i found her in the laundry room but probably you might not need to face her. In all the apartment itself is really great and would recommend it. Show less
