Bath/WC. Carpet. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of the countryside and the resort. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Garage space n 217 (1 car), height 200 cm, width 210 cm. Maloja 16 km from St.Moritz: Apartment block "Pra d'Sura". On the outskirts, 400 m from the centre of Maloja, in a sunny position, 800 m from the lake, on a main road, south facing position. In the house: lounge, lift, storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). Communal covered parking at the house. Shop 500 m, grocery 400 m, restaurant 50 m, bus stop 400 m. Walking paths from the house 100 m, cable car 8 km, ski lift 1 km, ski rental 600 m, ski bus stop 400 m, ski school, children's ski school 800 m, cross country ski track 200 m, ice rink 400 m. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Corvatsch - Furtschellas 9 km, Corviglia 16 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Silser See 500 m, St. Moritz See 16 km. Hiking paths: Cavloc-Fextal, Lunghin See, Bergell. Please note: car recommended. Loading and unloading of baggage is possible at the holiday house. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in St. Moritz, 16 km.

Location Description Maloja

1'817 - 2'200 m a.s.l. >>`The 310-inhabitant village Maloja is situated between the Upper Engadine lakeland region and the Bergell Valley at 1817m altitude. Maloja is known for its inspiring and relaxing nature and its proximity to St. Moritz. The earliest finds indicate that the area around Maloja was already populated around 2000 years BC. Testimonies are mainly the Druid stone of Maloja, coin finds, tomb graves and ornament stones. Due to its location on the pass road, Maloja has held an important function in Roman times. During the Napoleonic wars it was occupied by French and Austrian troops. Approximately 100 years later, in 1880, the Belgian count Camille de Renesse discovered the breathtaking landscape and transformed Maloja into a glamorous meeting place for the international aristocracy by building the Kursaal Maloja (now Maloja Palace). Maloja also has a lot to offer to art lovers: the studio Segantini (the former studio of the famous Italian painter Giovanni Segantini) and the so-called "Sentiero Segantini", a walk connecting important stages of Segantini's work in Maloja and documenting them with charts, are all definitely worth seeing. The magnificent "Belvedere" castle, a remnant of the residence of the count, offers an excellent view over the Bergelltal and can be reached from the center by foot in 20 minutes. In the summer exhibitions are often held here. Snowshoe adventure tours, moonlight skiing, torch-sledging, full moon hikes, etc. Postbus connection to all ski resorts in the Engadine available. Maloja is the starting point of the Engadine Ski Marathon. Maloja is the only place in Südbünden to have the "Families Welcome" seal of approval from the Swiss Tourism Association. This shows the family-friendly attitude and infrastructure of the resort. Small village, summer holiday resort and winter sports resort, in an idyllic position, 17 km from St.Moritz. All shops, restaurants etc. in St.Moritz, 17 - 18 km. In the resort: shops, restaurant. More possibilities for shopping 7 - 8 km. Bathing lake. Sailing, surfing, rowing. Tennis, golf course 18 hole in Samedan, more golfcourses within a radius from 10 - 25 km. Riding. Fitness course. Fishing (permit required). Paragliding. 2 mountain lifts, 15 km, 5 cableways, 8 km, 1 gondola lift, hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing. Children's playground, leisure park "Percorso Avventura". Europe's highest located boat line on Silser lake. Various summer activities including hiking, camping, climbing, handicraft work sessions and kids' discotheque for families with children.

Winter

Information concerning the Skipass you can find on Snowdeal Engadin, the price is subject to demand, who books early profits from interesting discounts. Ski-region Maloja Aela, 2 lifts in the resort, 58 lifts in the ski region. 1 drag lift, 1 children's ski lift. Ski school, snowboard school, children's ski school. 230 km cross country ski tracks in the region, ski walking paths, winter walking paths. 1 toboggan run. Natural ice rink, curling. Corvatsch - Furtschellas at 8 km, Corviglia at 16 km, Diavolezza at 35 km.

Chambres très spacieuses et salle de bain très bien. Par contre la cuisine est minuscule et ancienne. Le bémol est la proximité de la route très fréquentée qui n’invite pas à se tenir sur le balcon.

Die Strasse ist sehr laut. wir mussten mit Oropax schlafen und konnten den Balkon nicht benutzen. Die natürliche Umgebung von Maloja ist wunderschön.

Het appartement is lekker ruim en heeft een prima ligging. Wel jammer dat de weg ervoor nogal druk is, vooral 's morgens vroeg met veel verkeer dat van en naar de Malojapas gaat. Heel fijn dat onze elektrische auto in de garage kon staan zodat hij niet oververhit raakte door de zon.

Je conseille ce bel appartement pour deux personnes; tout le nécessaire est inclus pour passer une belle semaine (ou plus). Très bonne literie. Draps, linges, etc tout compris. Endroit idéal pour visiter les magnifiques Grisons. Le responsable est très accueillant, sympathique et donne de très bons conseils.

L'appartement de 2 pièces est très bien tenu et comporte tout ce qui est nécessaire. Un seul inconvénient: la proximité de la route de la Maloja qui est situé à quelques mètres des fenêtres. C'est seulement avec réserve que je recommanderais cette location.
