1-room apartment 32 m2 on 4th floor, south facing position. Living/dining room with 2 fold-away beds, cable TV, flat screen, radio and DVD. Exit to the balcony. Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (cheese)). Bath/WC. Balcony. Terrace furniture. Very beautiful view of the lake, the countryside and the resort. Facilities: telephone. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. 1 small pet/ dog allowed. Kitchen equipped with: toaster, dryer, blender, hand blender, chopper and juicer. Extra service on request and charges: cleaning the apartment and change of linen during the stay.

Apartment block "Castagnola (Utoring)". In the resort 3 km from the centre of Lugano, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, south-east facing position. In the house: reception, lift, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). Motor access to the house. Public parking 15 m on the road extra. Shop 1.6 km, restaurant, café 200 m, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "San Michele" 30 m, railway station "Lugano SBB-CFF-FFS". Golf course (18 hole) 13 km, tennis 1.6 km, minigolf 13 km, walking paths from the house 10 m. Nearby attractions: Gandria 2 km, Swiss Miniatur, Melide 10 km, Museum of Chocolat, Caslano 13 km, Outlet Fox Town, Mendrisio 22 km, Lido di Lugano 1.6 km, Mercato: Ponte Tresa IT, Como IT. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Lago di Lugano, Lago di Como, Lago Maggiore. Hiking paths: Monte Bré, San Salvatore, Monte Tamaro, & Splash and SPA, Malcantone, Monte Lema. Please note: There are more similar properties for rent in this same residence. Property ref. CH6976.100 is situated on the same property. All houses/apartments are individually designed/furnished. The residence is located at the foot of Monte Bre. It has a magnificent view of the bay of Lugano and Monte San Salvatore. Few parking spaces are available (8 in total, for 56CHF / week). Caution: .The parking place can only be reserved and allocated on arrival. Public places are nearby (blue zone, with charge). Important: The card for parking in blue zone must be collected from the city / Police (10CHF / day 30CHF / week, maximum 3 weeks). Information is on site. The bike storage is not possible. The bus line number 2 leads directly to / from the train station Lugano 200 front of the residence!

...what to expect in your holiday home?

Dear Holiday Guest,

As you travel you realise that things can be very different from country to country as well as from region to region. This is what makes travelling and holidays so interesting. Differences are also to be expected in holiday homes. The type and quality of furnishings, and the look of the property, are normally in line with local standards.
We can assure you, however, that the home you chose will meet the following minimum requirements, provided that nothing in the brochure is mentioned to suggest otherwise.

 

What should you expect to find in your holiday home?

  • Private living area, not for use by any other third party
  • Comfortable seating in the living area
  • Dining table with sufficient chairs
  • Cooking facilities with pots and pans (ovens and microwaves available only if mentioned in the description).
  • Fridge
  • Cutlery/crockery

 

 In Addition

  • Heating is available in properties that are available for rent in the winter. The cost of heating is included unless stated as an extra. In summer resorts, heating or heaters are only available when mentioned in the description and normally costs extra. No heating is available in Italy from approximately mid April to mid October.
  • TVs are only included where indicated in the description. They are usually colour. Black and white TVs are very rare but sometimes are provided and will be shown in the brochure description as «b/w».
  • Fireplaces are for use (unless «ornamental» is mentioned), though firewood normally costs extra, provided it is available, or can be bought locally.
  • “Double bedroom” = 2 separate beds pushed together or 2 single mattresses on a double base. “Room with double bed” = 1 bed for 2 people. Many homes have sofa beds (sometimes described as “double divan”) or pull out beds in the living room.
  • Holiday homes are not normally equipped with kettles and teapots. All homes have a fridge.

 

 Normal measurements for beds are:

  • Single bed: 190 x 80/90 cm
  • Double bed (1 mattress for 2 people) 190 x 140 cm
  • Double bedroom (2 mattresses) 190 x 80 cm each
  • Bunk beds are more suitable for children and can be quite small.

 

 

Parking

  • Parking is available when mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental, unless the brochure description says it will be «extra».
  • Public parking is not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee this will always be available.

 

 Infrastructure

  • Facilities belonging to the holiday home or the residence, such as swimming pool, play area, tennis court etc. will be mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental unless stated as «extra» in the description.
  • Public facilities (swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants etc.) are not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee these will always be available, particularly in low season.

 

 Pets

  • The pet symbol by a property indicates that 1 pet will be permitted. If you wish to take more than 1 pet, you must check with reservations first.

 

 Weekends and Shortbreaks

  • In low season periods we can book selected properties for short breaks (minimum 3 days) and long weekends. Call your nearest Interhome reservations office to discover which properties are available for less than a week in the resort or city you wish to visit for a few days.

Dans cet appartement, la vue magnifique a enchanté notre séjour. Mais aussi l'appartement pratique, le bus à deux pas, la gentillesse du propriétaire qui nous attendu malgré les deux heures de retard dues au train. Nous reviendrons !

Appartement met prachtig uitzicht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Open keuken met inductiekookplaat en vaatwasser. Goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön gelegen, tolle Aussicht, ist auch gut mit öv erreichbar vorsicht busse halten nicht immer wen man wartet.
