196 m a.s.l. >>Ascona is the lowest-lying town in Switzerland. It lies 196 metres above sea level on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore. Ascona is famous for its old town, the southern lakeside promenade with its street cafés and its mild climate. In Ascona's old town centre, Borgo, lies the impressive church of San Pietro e Paolo, a pillared basilica from the 16th century, whose high bell tower is the landmark of the holiday resort. The branching old town streets lead to the car-free lakeside promenade with charming street cafés. Above Ascona lies Monte Verità, the mountain of truth. Here, lateral thinkers founded a colony at the beginning of the 20th century, which attracted celebrities from all over the world. Balkony and apart are very convenient with complete new kitchen and bath. Also the beds are very comfy and we stayed a lot with our baby in the living room. Hosts are very friendly if anything extra needed (like bike garage for us)

Tolle Wohnung, gemütlich eingerichtet, an alles wichtige wurde gedacht, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ca. 1000 Meter zum nächsten COOP, ca. 2000 Kilometer zu Fuß von Ascona entfernt. Die schöne Wohnung diente als Ausgangsort für viele wunderschöne Ausflüge, die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich.

We loved our stay in this apartment in the lovely area of Losone. It is very well-kept, nicely decorated and cosy. In a quiet neighborhood within easy reach of Ascona and Locarno, and has a little balcony to enjoy breakfast with a view.

Die Wohnung ist perfekt für 2 Personen, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr gut gelegen. Mit eigenem Parkplatz und öV-Haltestellen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Tolle Tessiner Restaurants ebenfalls in der Nähe wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Bushaltestelle in der Nähe sowie Restaurant in Gehdistanz. Frühstücken auf dem Balkon für 2 Personen möglich. Zufahrt zum Haus ( für Gepäck ausladen) nur mit Motorrad, Vespa od. kl. Auto zu empfehlen, sehr enge Gasse. Parkplatz seht einige Meter weiter zur Verfügung. Wohnung liegt im 2. Stock u. ist mit Treppe zu erreichen. (kein Lift)

Gute Lage, da sowohl Ascona als auch Locarno gut zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Bushaltestellen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ideal für Wander begeisterte, da großes Angebot an Wanderstrecken ohne lange Anfahrtszeiten vorhanden sind. Schöne Lage der Wohnung inmitten des historischen Ortskerns mit vielen Gässchen.

Gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit sehr guter Lage, ca. 20min fußläufig zum See! Ausstattung ist gut mit schönen Balkon. Es gibt nur einen Kritikpunkt, der Schlüssel war bei Ankunft nicht im vereinbarten Schlüsselsafe. Wir mussten uns erst im Haus durchklingeln, bis wir einen Schlüssel hatten. Für uns nicht so toll, da wir kein italienisch können und nicht einfach mit dem Handy telefonieren können (1,89€/min)!!!

Für uns hat alles gepasst: gutes Raumkonzept, ruhige Lage, ÖV-Haltestellen in nächster Nähe, idealer Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten. Unser Auto blieb die ganze Zeit unbenutzt. Für uns war nicht wichtig: kein Privatparkplatz, Distanz zum See, keine Liegewiese.

Sehr interessant, wie man in einem alten Gebäude eine kleine aber feine Wohnung realisieren kann. Durch die Schiebetüren ist der vorhandene Platz optimal genutzt worden. Sehr schön. Sehr gemütlich und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das parken auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz ist kein Problem, müsste aber besser beschrieben werden, wo er ist.
