"Casa Fortuna", 3-room chalet 80 m2 on 3 levels. Partly with sloping ceilings, simple and rustic furnishings: open living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace, radio and gas heater. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 bed (90 cm, length 200 cm), 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (4 hot plates, oven). Shower/WC. Upper floor: 1 open room with sloping ceilings with 1 double bed (1 x 160 cm, length 200 cm). Small patio. Terrace furniture, barbecue, deck chairs (2). Beautiful view of the mountains. Facilities: children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds (extra). Please note: suitable for families. Non-smoking house.

Dandrio 13 km from Malvaglia: Note: Power is supplied by a solar panel and generator. Stove and fridge are gas-operated. Wood boiler. Electrical appliances over 250W can not be operated. Note: Mountain road 13 km from Malvaglia real time 25 minutes. The use of the access road to the Malvaglia Valley has become subject to a fee as follows: CHF 5.00/day CHF 10.00/week CHF 20.00/month. The fee can be paid either in cash with CHF/Euro or by credit card. The toll machine is located in Caslou, right after you cross the bridge. Rustic, simple chalet "Fortuna", 1'200 m a.s.l.. In the resort Dandrio, in the district Valle di Blenio, in a central, sunny position, 100 m from the river, in the countryside. Motor access (mountain road). 40 m footpath to the house. Parking at 40 m on the premises. Supermarket 13 km, restaurant 30 m, railway station "Biasca" 20 km. Walking paths from the house 20 m, cable car 6 km. Nearby attractions: Castelli di Bellinzona (UNESCO), Mercati di Bellinzona, sabato, Museo della Valle di Blenio, Negrentino, Archivio Doneta, Locarno, Ascona, Lugano. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Nara, Campra, Campo Blenio, Airolo. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Lago di Luzzone, Lago Retico, Lago di Lugano, Lago Maggiore. ...what to expect in your holiday home?

Dear Holiday Guest,

As you travel you realise that things can be very different from country to country as well as from region to region. This is what makes travelling and holidays so interesting. Differences are also to be expected in holiday homes. The type and quality of furnishings, and the look of the property, are normally in line with local standards.
We can assure you, however, that the home you chose will meet the following minimum requirements, provided that nothing in the brochure is mentioned to suggest otherwise.

 

What should you expect to find in your holiday home?

  • Private living area, not for use by any other third party
  • Comfortable seating in the living area
  • Dining table with sufficient chairs
  • Cooking facilities with pots and pans (ovens and microwaves available only if mentioned in the description).
  • Fridge
  • Cutlery/crockery

 

 In Addition

  • Heating is available in properties that are available for rent in the winter. The cost of heating is included unless stated as an extra. In summer resorts, heating or heaters are only available when mentioned in the description and normally costs extra. No heating is available in Italy from approximately mid April to mid October.
  • TVs are only included where indicated in the description. They are usually colour. Black and white TVs are very rare but sometimes are provided and will be shown in the brochure description as «b/w».
  • Fireplaces are for use (unless «ornamental» is mentioned), though firewood normally costs extra, provided it is available, or can be bought locally.
  • “Double bedroom” = 2 separate beds pushed together or 2 single mattresses on a double base. “Room with double bed” = 1 bed for 2 people. Many homes have sofa beds (sometimes described as “double divan”) or pull out beds in the living room.
  • Holiday homes are not normally equipped with kettles and teapots. All homes have a fridge.

 

 Normal measurements for beds are:

  • Single bed: 190 x 80/90 cm
  • Double bed (1 mattress for 2 people) 190 x 140 cm
  • Double bedroom (2 mattresses) 190 x 80 cm each
  • Bunk beds are more suitable for children and can be quite small.

 

 

Parking

  • Parking is available when mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental, unless the brochure description says it will be «extra».
  • Public parking is not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee this will always be available.

 

 Infrastructure

  • Facilities belonging to the holiday home or the residence, such as swimming pool, play area, tennis court etc. will be mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental unless stated as «extra» in the description.
  • Public facilities (swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants etc.) are not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee these will always be available, particularly in low season.

 

 Pets

  • The pet symbol by a property indicates that 1 pet will be permitted. If you wish to take more than 1 pet, you must check with reservations first.

 

 Weekends and Shortbreaks

  • In low season periods we can book selected properties for short breaks (minimum 3 days) and long weekends. Call your nearest Interhome reservations office to discover which properties are available for less than a week in the resort or city you wish to visit for a few days.

Krásná chata na nádherném místě. Úžasná dovolená. Pouze tři negativa: 1) 20 minutová cesta k chatě úzkou silnicí (člověk si zvykne) 2) bez televize a internetu (dá se v horách očekávat) 3) hrozně vržou postele

Die Unterkunft ist eine Enttäuschung. Das zweite Schlafzimmer steht nicht zur Benutzung zur Verfügung, in der Galerie wähnt man sich auf einem längst nicht mehr geputzten Estrich mit schmutzigen Fenstern und Spinnhuppeln, ein Kleiderkasten steht nur in einem Zimmer zur Verfügung, die zwei Show more Kommodenkästen in der Galerie sind teils oder ganz vollgestopft. Die Möblierung ist sehr spartanisch, lieblos und teils auch sehr ungepflegt (z.B. der abgenutzte und zerkratzte Stubensessel, der lieblose Sofa-Überwurf und das uralte, ebenfalls abgenutzte Geschirr, bei welchem auch Teller für das Morgenessen fehlen). Mit dem Cheminée konnte keine Wärme erzeugt werden, zudem fehlte es bei der Ankunft an Anfeuerholz und Anzündhilfen, zwei von vier Deckenlampen in der Stube funktionierten nicht, auch sind keine Gebrauchsanweisungen für z.B. Gasofen und Cheminée vorhanden. Das ganze Haus ist extrem hellhörig. Show less

La casa è molto confortevole e l'impianto elettrico funziona benissimo. Unica accortezza è quello di usare elettrodomestici con un assorbimento massimo di 250 W. Il balcone in agosto ha il sole dalle 10 e 30 alle 18 quindi si sta davvero bene! Il paese è bellissimo e il paesaggio meraviglioso!
