3-room apartment 65 m2, on the top floor. Partly with sloping ceilings, very simple furnishings: living/dining room, ceiling height 150 - 180 cm with dining table, TV, hi-fi system and DVD. Exit to the balcony, south facing position. 2 small double bedrooms with sloping ceilings, each room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchen (3 hot plates, oven, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)) with dining table. Shower/WC. Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. WC is next to the apartment door on the private floor, not in the apartment.

Old, rustic, simple 2-family house "Lauberhaus", 2 storeys. In the district of Oberdorf 800 m from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet position, south facing position. In the house: central heating system. Supermarket 650 m, restaurant 200 m, bar 250 m, bakery 400 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Matterhorn Glacier Paradise" 450 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 800 m. Mountain railway 500 m, ski rental 500 m, ski bus stop, ski school 450 m, children's ski school. Please note: no lift. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt.

Well-known, famous, car-free winter sports resort with 5'478 inhabitants, situated at the foot of the Mount Cervin with beautiful view, 34 km south from Visp. In the resort: supermarket, grocery, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, bar, disco, museum, cinema. Glacier, hiking, electrocab available in town, indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, massage. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Lakes nearby.

Summer

Bathing lake. Tennis (1 outdoor court, 1 indoor court), golf course 9 hole in Täsch 6 km. Minigolf. Fitness course. Summer skiing. Paragliding, beach volleybally court. Mountain lifts, 400 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing. 80 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground, leisure park. In May and June, lorries are allowed in Zermatt because of building season. In these months, it is slightly noisier than during the rest of the year, when Zermatt is car-free.

Winter

Ski-region Matterhorn Ski Paradise, total of 57 lifts. 2 mountain lifts, 8 cableways, 11 cable cabins, 22 chair lifts, 14 drag lifts, 2 children's ski lifts. 70 ski runs, total length 350 km (21 % easy, 62 % intermediate, 18 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school from 6 years old, ski kindergarten from 4 years old. 17 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 45 km. 1 toboggan run. Natural ice rink, artificial ice rink, curling, indoor tennis centre. Ski bus (free of charge). Further ski-regions: Cervinia.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights. The space was the perfect size for our family since the one bedroom has two single beds for our kids and the other bedroom has a larger bed for us. The kitchen has everything you need plus more with a spacious fridge and even a dishwasher. Tons of pots, pans, and silverware so we were able to save a lot of money by stocking up at the grocery store and cooking meals. The views from the apartment are unbelievable and the neighborhood is very quiet.

Dont come here if you are looking for a characterless modern tourist confo. Come here if you are looking for an enchanted attic lovers retreat with an amazing view of the Matterhorn. Space is a bit challenging with steep steps, low doorways, bathroom in the hallway, etc. But it will grow on you. We loved it!

Two sets of stairs to enter the unit then a ships ladder to the unit. Doorway from kitchen to living area only 5 foot 6 inches in height. Doorways to bedrooms only 5 foot 0 inches in height. Unit cluttered. Kitchen is very limited.

Wir mögen kleine, gemütliche und originelle Ferienwohnungen, daher also auch diese. Alles im original 70er Jahre Look, Küche aber neu. Man muss aber sagen: nix für Leute, die über 180 gross sind. Deckenhöhe und Türhöhen um 150 cm sind echt gefährlich, man holt sich Beulen. Die Treppen hoch sind eher Leitern. Und für 4 echt ein bisschen klein. Wie gesagt, muss man mögen. Die Aussicht ist aber toll! Die Lage auch.

Aus meiner Sicht eine sehr gute Lage der Wohnung in der Nähe der Bergbahn und der Geschäfte. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist sehr zweckmäßig ausgestattet und hat einen tollen Blick aufs Matterhorn. Ist aber aus meiner Sicht für den Preis zu klein, zu alt mit zu niedrigen Deckenhöhen und Türen. Permanent gebückte Haltung notwendig und Kopfstoßen nicht vermeidbar. Sehr schmale unsere steile Treppen. Ich denke woanders bekommt man mehr fürs Geld. Aber vielleicht muss das in Zermatt

Die Wohnung ist infolge des Treppenzuganges und Stufen innerhalb der Wohnung für Senioren nicht geeignet. Küchenmobiliar (Ausnahme Grossgeräte) haben den Brockenstuben Charme . Ersatz ist empfohlen.

Die Fewo versprüht historischen Charme, ist ganz aus Holz, mit schönen antiken Möbeln und sehr gutem, modernem Küchengerät. Den Preis der Fewo fanden wir sehr teuer, aber für Zermatter Verhältnisse noch im Rahmen. Allein der Balkonblick auf das Matterhorn war schon den Urlaub wert!

Man wohnt in einem noch etwas urspruenglichen Teil von Zermatt, wir waren damit sehr zufrieden. Die Sicht auf das Matterhorn ist atemberaubend. Ausserdem blickt man von der Wohnung aus ueber das ganze Dorf.

Mängel: - Feuermelder im Schlafzimmer mit lautem Piepton stört sehr. - Kopfsieb Duschbrause fehlt. -Besteck erneuerungsbedürftig - W-lan schwach - Material zum Pfannen putzen fehlt - Schubladen schlecht zu öffnen - Dachschrägen waren aus der Beschreibung zu wenig ersichtlich
