3-room apartment 70 m2 on 2nd floor. Simple and practical furnishings: living room with TV, radio and DVD. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 bed (90 cm, length 200 cm), 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchen-/living room (4 hot plates, oven, freezer, electric coffee machine). Bath/WC. Balcony. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of the mountains and the resort. Please note: non-smokers only.


Simple small apartment house "Memory". In the district of Trift 400 m from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope. In the house: washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). Steep footpath (60 steps) to the house. Supermarket 700 m, restaurant 300 m, bakery 400 m, 15 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Bahnhof" 700 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 700 m. Mountain railway, ski rental, ski bus stop 700 m, ski school, children's ski school 400 m. Please note: no lift. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. ...what to expect in your holiday home?

Dear Holiday Guest,

As you travel you realise that things can be very different from country to country as well as from region to region. This is what makes travelling and holidays so interesting. Differences are also to be expected in holiday homes. The type and quality of furnishings, and the look of the property, are normally in line with local standards.
We can assure you, however, that the home you chose will meet the following minimum requirements, provided that nothing in the brochure is mentioned to suggest otherwise.


What should you expect to find in your holiday home?

  • Private living area, not for use by any other third party
  • Comfortable seating in the living area
  • Dining table with sufficient chairs
  • Cooking facilities with pots and pans (ovens and microwaves available only if mentioned in the description).
  • Fridge
  • Cutlery/crockery


 In Addition

  • Heating is available in properties that are available for rent in the winter. The cost of heating is included unless stated as an extra. In summer resorts, heating or heaters are only available when mentioned in the description and normally costs extra. No heating is available in Italy from approximately mid April to mid October.
  • TVs are only included where indicated in the description. They are usually colour. Black and white TVs are very rare but sometimes are provided and will be shown in the brochure description as «b/w».
  • Fireplaces are for use (unless «ornamental» is mentioned), though firewood normally costs extra, provided it is available, or can be bought locally.
  • “Double bedroom” = 2 separate beds pushed together or 2 single mattresses on a double base. “Room with double bed” = 1 bed for 2 people. Many homes have sofa beds (sometimes described as “double divan”) or pull out beds in the living room.
  • Holiday homes are not normally equipped with kettles and teapots. All homes have a fridge.


 Normal measurements for beds are:

  • Single bed: 190 x 80/90 cm
  • Double bed (1 mattress for 2 people) 190 x 140 cm
  • Double bedroom (2 mattresses) 190 x 80 cm each
  • Bunk beds are more suitable for children and can be quite small.




  • Parking is available when mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental, unless the brochure description says it will be «extra».
  • Public parking is not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee this will always be available.



  • Facilities belonging to the holiday home or the residence, such as swimming pool, play area, tennis court etc. will be mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental unless stated as «extra» in the description.
  • Public facilities (swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants etc.) are not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee these will always be available, particularly in low season.



  • The pet symbol by a property indicates that 1 pet will be permitted. If you wish to take more than 1 pet, you must check with reservations first.


 Weekends and Shortbreaks

  • In low season periods we can book selected properties for short breaks (minimum 3 days) and long weekends. Call your nearest Interhome reservations office to discover which properties are available for less than a week in the resort or city you wish to visit for a few days.

Spacious comfortable apartment We had 5 guests and there was plenty of room The kids had to buy a WiFi devise for the week because there is no WiFi Challenging walk up to the apartment but once there you had the best view of the village

El problema principal es el largo camino con cuesta incluida y con maletas arrastras, que hay que hacer a pie, ante la imposibilidad de llegar de otro modo al apartamento. Las vistas compensan en parte, el esfuerzo. No apto para abuelos.

Die Wohnung liegt schön über der Stadt und in genügend Abstand vom Trubel der Hauptstraße, dafür sollte man gern in Kauf nehmen, dass man zu ihr hoch laufen muss. Guter Blick aus den Fenstern und vom Balkon Außerdem führt hinter dem Haus ein wunderbarer Wanderweg hoch in ein Tal hinein zu einer Show more Pension Edelweiß nach 40 Minuten Aufstieg und zu einem Hotel Trift nach einer weiteren guten Stunde, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist, sollte man das unbedingt machen , und dann weiter vier Stunden nach Staffel, oben dann immer mit wunderbarem Blick auf seine Majestät Herrn Matterhorn. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist nicht mehr die jüngste, hier und da müsste etwas ausgetauscht werden, es sollte auch kein alter Fernsehapparat auf dem Balkon gelagert werden. Die Wohnung ist aber praktisch und funktional ausgestattet, hat auch einen schönen Blick, dass man das Matterhorn nicht sieht macht nichts, man kann den Berg ja ansonsten von überall bewundern. Zwei Punkte, die nicht gehen und warum ich diese Bewertung schreibe: Es gibt zwar ein WiFi, es wird aber für die Gäste nicht freigestellt. Und: Wir hatten für Handtücher, Bettwäsche und Endreinigung der Wohnung für zwei Erwachsene und drei Kinder 300 Franken zusätzlich zum Mietpreis zu bezahlen, das ist etwas lächerlich und trieb die Gesamtunterbringungskosten für vier Tage um ein Drittel auf 1000 Franken. Das war für uns der Wermutstropfen in diesem ansonsten spektakulären schweizerischen Paradies. Show less
