Large, open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, cooking island, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. Floor heating. Balcony, south facing position and west facing position. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Facilities: washing machine, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Beautiful, cosy apartment house "Monazit", 4 storeys. In the district of Steinmatte 500 m from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Grocery 75 m, supermarket 450 m, restaurant 20 m, bar, bakery 75 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Kirchbrücke" 40 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 750 m. Mountain railway, gondola lift, slopes 600 m, ski rental 200 m, ski bus stop 40 m, ski school 400 m, ice rink 550 m. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Matterhorn Glacier Paradise 600 m, Gornergrat 750 m, Sunnegga 600 m. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt.

Well-known, famous, car-free winter sports resort with 5'478 inhabitants, situated at the foot of the Mount Cervin with beautiful view, 34 km south from Visp. In the resort: supermarket, grocery, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, bar, disco, museum, cinema. Glacier, hiking, electrocab available in town, indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, massage. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Lakes nearby.

Summer

Bathing lake. Tennis (1 outdoor court, 1 indoor court), golf course 9 hole in Täsch 6 km. Minigolf. Fitness course. Summer skiing. Paragliding, beach volleybally court. Mountain lifts, 400 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing. 80 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground, leisure park. In May and June, lorries are allowed in Zermatt because of building season. In these months, it is slightly noisier than during the rest of the year, when Zermatt is car-free.

Ski-region Matterhorn Ski Paradise, total of 57 lifts. 2 mountain lifts, 8 cableways, 11 cable cabins, 22 chair lifts, 14 drag lifts, 2 children's ski lifts. 70 ski runs, total length 350 km (21 % easy, 62 % intermediate, 18 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school from 6 years old, ski kindergarten from 4 years old. 17 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 45 km. 1 toboggan run. Natural ice rink, artificial ice rink, curling, indoor tennis centre. Ski bus (free of charge). Further ski-regions: Cervinia.

Die Wohnung ist komplett renoviert, sehr geschmackvoll und komplett eingerichtet. Die Lage ist perfekt, der Bus zu den Bergbahnen ist gleich vor dem Haus.

Die Wohnung ist ideal für 2-4 Personen. Schön und vemütlich eingerichtet. Sie hat einen Balkon mit wunderbarer Nachmittagssonne. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, nahe den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und nahe bei den Bergbahnen. Wir kommen immer wieder in diese Wohnung weil sie alle unsere Bedürfnisse erfüllt.

We were delighted with everything about this apartment! The location was perfect - 2 minutes walk to the town, and just opposite the ski bus stop for both ski lifts. The view from the balcony was simply stunning, and everything in the apartment was like new. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Some very small feedback - there was no bottle opener or vegetable peeler! Other than that, it had everything - in fact more - than we needed.

Die Unterkunft hat unseren Erwartungen voll und ganz entsprochen. Leider konnten wir das Cheminée nicht benutzen. Es hatte kein Holz zum anfeuern und die Zugluft war zuwenig. Bei der Abreise wurde uns gesagt, das der Gebrauch des Cheminée nicht vorgesehen ist. Wir waren etwas irritiert weil in der Gebrauchsanweisung vor Ort die Benutzung des Cheminée beschrieben war. Dies war auch ein Grund, dass wir uns für diese Wohnung entschieden haben. Ansonsten gerne wieder.

Es ist grundsätzlich sehr zu empfehlen, leider mit einer entscheidenden Komponente, dass es bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut war von den Bewohner der gleichen Etage. Jede Nacht bis 00.30Uhr Lärm, dies ist nicht zu akzeptieren und ich bitte Sie dies zu prüfen und uns ein Feedback zugeben. Herzlichen Dank und freundliche Grüsse Familie B.
