Exit to the balcony, south facing position. 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed (1 x 160 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Small kitchen (3 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, freezer, electric coffee machine). Bath/WC. Balcony. Balcony furniture. View of Matterhorn. Please note: non-smokers only. 1 pet/ dog allowed.


Old, simple small apartment house "St. Martin", 6 storeys. In the district of Wiesti, 700 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny, elevated position, south-west facing position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Stepped path (70 steps) to the house. Supermarket 700 m, restaurant 100 m, bakery 700 m, bus stop "Wiestibrücke" 300 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 700 m. Mountain railway, ski rental, ski bus stop 300 m, ski school, children's ski school 900 m. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. ...what to expect in your holiday home?

Dear Holiday Guest,

As you travel you realise that things can be very different from country to country as well as from region to region. This is what makes travelling and holidays so interesting. Differences are also to be expected in holiday homes. The type and quality of furnishings, and the look of the property, are normally in line with local standards.
We can assure you, however, that the home you chose will meet the following minimum requirements, provided that nothing in the brochure is mentioned to suggest otherwise.


What should you expect to find in your holiday home?

  • Private living area, not for use by any other third party
  • Comfortable seating in the living area
  • Dining table with sufficient chairs
  • Cooking facilities with pots and pans (ovens and microwaves available only if mentioned in the description).
  • Fridge
  • Cutlery/crockery


 In Addition

  • Heating is available in properties that are available for rent in the winter. The cost of heating is included unless stated as an extra. In summer resorts, heating or heaters are only available when mentioned in the description and normally costs extra. No heating is available in Italy from approximately mid April to mid October.
  • TVs are only included where indicated in the description. They are usually colour. Black and white TVs are very rare but sometimes are provided and will be shown in the brochure description as «b/w».
  • Fireplaces are for use (unless «ornamental» is mentioned), though firewood normally costs extra, provided it is available, or can be bought locally.
  • “Double bedroom” = 2 separate beds pushed together or 2 single mattresses on a double base. “Room with double bed” = 1 bed for 2 people. Many homes have sofa beds (sometimes described as “double divan”) or pull out beds in the living room.
  • Holiday homes are not normally equipped with kettles and teapots. All homes have a fridge.


 Normal measurements for beds are:

  • Single bed: 190 x 80/90 cm
  • Double bed (1 mattress for 2 people) 190 x 140 cm
  • Double bedroom (2 mattresses) 190 x 80 cm each
  • Bunk beds are more suitable for children and can be quite small.




  • Parking is available when mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental, unless the brochure description says it will be «extra».
  • Public parking is not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee this will always be available.



  • Facilities belonging to the holiday home or the residence, such as swimming pool, play area, tennis court etc. will be mentioned in the description and will be included in the rental unless stated as «extra» in the description.
  • Public facilities (swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants etc.) are not part of the rental agreement and we cannot guarantee these will always be available, particularly in low season.



  • The pet symbol by a property indicates that 1 pet will be permitted. If you wish to take more than 1 pet, you must check with reservations first.


 Weekends and Shortbreaks

  • In low season periods we can book selected properties for short breaks (minimum 3 days) and long weekends. Call your nearest Interhome reservations office to discover which properties are available for less than a week in the resort or city you wish to visit for a few days.

L'appartement était conforme à l’annonce. Spacieux, chaude et avec tout les meubles et outils nécessaires. Mais il y a certain choses que Interhome pourrait, sans doute, améliorer: - Le bâtiment n'avait pas de numéro ni aucune identification. Nous avons mis trop de temps à trouver l'appartement. Show more Nous avons finalement trouvé le bâtiment en regardant la photo publié sur internet et le cherchant dans la zone concerné. - Il y avait des ustensiles de cuisine rangés mais salle. (notamment les poiles) - L'appartement avait des traces des saleté par le sol. (traces de biscuits) - Les couettes de lit étaient minuscules. Peut-être seront correct pour des enfants, mais pas du tout pour des adultes. - Nous avons payé une taxe de nettoyage final. C'est un peu surprenant que nous devions ranger nous même le linge de lit utilisé et laisser l'appartement en état. Du coup, il semble que nous avons payé le nettoyage juste pour laver le linge et il faut tenir en compte que nous avions payé aussi une taxe en concept de linge. Il n'y avait pas de papier toilette de rechange ni savon de mains dans la salle de bain. Show less

été vérifié par nos collègues sur place, elles conviennent tout à fait à
la taille des lits. En ce qui concerne le papier toilette, ou le savon
pour les mains, ils ne sont pas considérés comme des équipements
standards d'une location. Malgré votre déception, nous serions très
heureux de vous revoir.

Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig und ausreichend eingerichtet. Der Treppenaufstieg ist für Reisen mit viel Gepäck etwas mühselig aber zu schaffen. Der Ausblick vom Balkon entschädigt das. Preis Leistung ist ok.

Einfache Wohnung mit guter Basis-Ausstattung. Sehr geräumig. WLAN sowie ein bis zwei weitere Stühle für den Küchentisch wären – gerade bei einer Belegung mit sechs Personen – hilfreich. Ein Nachteil ist, dass das Haus nur über eine längere Treppe von der Wiestistrasse aus erreicht werden kann, was Show more für die An- und Abreise mit viel Gepäck eher unpraktisch ist.
