Girandella Beach

The small pebble beach is located in a picturesque bay and is well-equipped. Here you will find a variety of sun loungers and umbrellas, which can be conveniently reserved on site. The nearest dining options are quickly accessible on foot. The peak season is considered to be the months of June to September, when the thermometer climbs daily to up to 30°C and beyond. The turquoise blue Mediterranean promises you a refreshing cool down, and while snorkeling, you can discover the Adriatic coast of Istria from a new perspective.

Sentonina Trail

The hiking trail is about four kilometers long. Along the way, you occasionally cross the river on small bridges. The scent of laurels and pines is your constant companion and enchants you even before you arrive at this fairy-tale waterfall. The Sentonina Staza waterfall with its turquoise lake gives visitors the feeling of having landed in paradise. In front of this romantic backdrop, you can take beautiful souvenir photos. During a picnic with the rushing waterfall in the background, you will surely want to stop time.

Rabac Beach

The beach sections of Rabac consist of white pebbles that stand out in contrast to the crystal-clear water. Many can boast the Blue Flag due to the excellent water quality. In summer, many beaches are supervised, and sanitary facilities are available. With numerous leisure options and a lively promenade, St. Andrea beach on the peninsula of the same name scores points. At Girandella beach, there is a pedal boat rental. Additionally, you can rent umbrellas and loungers. The centrally located pebble beach Maslinica is 500 meters long.

Trip to Labin

Stroll through the richly decorated Venetian gate of Saint Florus into the old town with its cozy medieval alleys and charming patrician houses. Lovers of high-quality sacred art will marvel at the paintings by Venetian painters in the Parish Church of the Nativity of Mary, built in 1336. In the center of Labin, the Venetian bell tower rises majestically. From a height of 35 meters, you have a magnificent view over the picturesque Labin countryside. You can relax comfortably in Titov Trg square with its many restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Rabac Promenade

The promenade of Rabac stretches along the village, connecting the center with the harbor and the surrounding beaches. While strolling along the waterfront promenade, you feel the unique atmosphere of the fishing village and pass by many great viewpoints. Chic restaurants and small cafes invite you to linger along the way with views of the picturesque harbor and the Mediterranean Sea. Historical landmark - Cable car

The hiking trail to the historical landmark - Teleferika begins behind the campsite of Maslinica Beach and is accessible via a small bridge. Hikers should prepare for inclines and rocky terrain and consider sturdy footwear. At Teleferika, an information board provides details about its history. The bauxite loading port was connected to Cere in the hinterland by a cable car, which transported bauxite in gondolas. After World War II, it was dismantled. Today, only the concrete ruins remain.

Park Dubrova (Mediterranean Sculpture Symposium)

In the heart of Rabac lies the Dubrova Park, a Mediterranean sculpture symposium. This unique place is a paradise for art lovers, surrounded by over 90 impressive sculptures created by international artists since 1969. Interestingly, the park is open around the clock and admission is free.

Knight's Game Ring Race

Barban - not far from Rabac - offers a unique event called "Trka na prstenac". This traditional knightly game, where riders try to hit a small ring with a lance, has an impressive history dating back to the 17th century. It is worth visiting this place and attending the event if you are in the area in August.

Tunarica Bay

In the beautiful bay of Tunarica, hidden near Rabac, lie secret beaches just waiting to be discovered. These untouched paradises are home to a rare species of tern found only in this region. A visit is worthwhile for all nature lovers and bird watchers.
