Cliffs of Moher
The Cliffs of Moher are one of the most famous attractions in Ireland and offer spectacular views of the Atlantic. They stretch for about 8 kilometers along the west coast and reach a height of 214 meters at their highest point. The cliffs are a paradise for bird watchers, as they provide a home for numerous seabirds such as puffins and seagulls. A visitor center provides information about the geological history and the flora and fauna of the region. Especially at sunset, the cliffs are a magical place when the light bathes the rocks in warm colors. The place is also popular among hikers, who can walk along the cliff path to enjoy the impressive landscape.
