Ardietti Fort
The Austrian fortress was built between 1856 and 1861 and is still completely preserved today. With its octagonal layout, it is a geometric marvel. The magnificent complex of natural stones and bricks has a circular courtyard and was part of the famous Quadrilatero. A visit to the fort is an absolute must for historically interested tourists. Inside the fortress, you can view the garrison quarters as well as artillery guns from various eras and old plans of the fort. Afterwards, a walk through the picturesque landscape is worthwhile.
