Roermond
The most prominent landmark is considered to be the Church of Our Lady from the 13th century. During your walks through the town center, also visit the Cathedral of St. Christopher or the town hall with its iconic carillon tower. The pedestrian zone invites you to linger longer with several small cafes and restaurants. The marina is a popular destination for walking excursions. With the boats, you can travel from Roermond over the Maas to the North Sea. Slightly further away than the harbor are Maastricht in the south and Eindhoven in the west. Both Dutch cities are recommended for day trips by car.
