Kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, microwave, freezer) with dining table, radio and CD-player. Upper floor: 1 room with 1 french bed. 1 room with 2 beds. Bath/shower/WC. 2nd upper floor: 1 room with 2 beds, TV and DVD. Gas heating. Facilities: washing machine, children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Reserved parking. Please note: non-smoking house. Maximum 2 pets/ dogs allowed.

Large, comfortable cottage "Clappersgate Way", detached. 1 km from the centre of Ambleside, 50 m from the river. In the house: storage room for bicycles. Parking at the house. Shop, restaurant, bar 800 m, railway station "Windermere" 9 km. Golf course (18 hole) 12 km, riding stable 7 km. Nearby attractions: Lake District National Park 100 m, The World of Beatrix Potter 9 km, Lakes Aquarium, Newby Bridge 23 km, Grizedale Forest & Visitors Centre 16 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Windermere 2 km, Grasmere 5 km, Coninston Water 12 km. Hiking paths: Cumbria Way 1 km.

Then road A590. Railway station "Windermere" 7 km. Car ferry Lancaster - Isle of Man 62 km.
