Aprés activities seem to be as popular as skiing itself and this Austrian valley seems to filled with music at all times.  Most of the bars tend to be pretty lively, but with a little bit of help you can find some quieter bars. Mayerhofen has some great places for eating out, and the best food can be found in the hotels. Hotel Elizabeth is famous for its steak restaurant and a meal for two is surprisingly well priced for a 5 star hotel. If you are looking for a bit more of an authentic experience, you should try Ahornhutte which is located on  top of Ahorn cable car. This is a traditional family restaurants, and portion size is more than generous.
