Giverny
On the right bank of the Seine, Giverny appears with its flower-adorned rows of houses and the massive stone church Sainte-Radegonde as if from a picture book. The greatest attraction of the 500-inhabitant village in Normandy is the delicately pink house and the lavishly blooming garden of the impressionist painter Claude Monet. Here, the French artist created his world-famous, color-sparkling nature paintings.
