The main attractions in Tatzmania Schwarzwaldpark are, of course, animals. Predators like lions and tigers, numerous ungulates, as well as other species like zebras, monkeys, and birds are housed here. Many animals can be particularly well observed during the daily feedings.
The water of the Gutach River rushes down the Triberg Waterfalls over seven cascades into the valley. From a footbridge, you can feel the spray of the falls on your skin and take spectacular photos. The waterfalls are illuminated until 10 PM.
With the lake circular path and the hunter's trail, the Schluchsee, located at an altitude of 930 m, is popular with all those who want to enjoy the view of the idyllic body of water from the Amalienruhe with its small pavilion or the Riesenbühlturm.
The Wutach and its tributaries offer a unique backdrop during a hike. You can park your car at the Schattenmühle. The hiking bus takes you to the Wutachmühle. From there, you hike back to the parking lot.
The local history museum Dittishausen in Löffingen is located in the former home of the vocational teacher Karl Ehret. Here he exhibited a skeleton from the 7th century and Roman coins. Since 1990, the museum has been open to the public again.
