280 m a.s.l. >>The medioval village of Chianni lies on a slope which separate the Era valley from the river Fine Valley, an area rich in vineyards with good wines. To visit: Pieve of San Dinato, rebuilt in the 19 century and the Compagnia church. Small, quiet village, in the western part of the region 40 km from the sea, on top of a hill, in a secluded position, 45 km south-east from Pisa, 40 km east from Livorno, 35 km north-east from Cecina. All shops, restaurants etc. in Casciana Terme, 8 km. In the resort: grocery, butchery, post office, bank, restaurant, bar. Thermal bath oder hot springs, health cures at 8 km.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, mit tollem Blick über die Landschaft und mit sehr gepflegten Pool.

Wir fanden die Wohnung wie erwartet vor, samt schön gedecktem Esstisch und leckerem Willkommensgeschenk. Es war bis auf Kleinigkeiten sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Wohnung können Eltern mit 2 großen Kindern plus Baby im Babybett unterkommen. Die Wohnung Ginepro ist von der Straße aus zu betreten und hinten raus hat man den Zugang zur eigenen geschützten Terrasse, Gemeinschaftsgarten und Pool. Alles gepflegt. Küche leider sehr klein, sowie der Küchentisch.Sonst alles vorhanden.

The appartment is located in a small holiday resort in a non-touristic, typical Italian village in the western part of Tuscany. It has a beautiful view over the Tuscany hills and wheat fields in direction to Volterra. The appartment is well equipped and we could frequently use the resort pool. Two good restaurants are in walking distance as well as little shops to get daily food, e.g. handmade pasta. Calm area, WFI access given. Good place to enjoy relaxing holidays in a rural environment.
