Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Castellina. Die Lage des Hauses könnte nicht schöner sein: Man wohnt in absoluter Ruhiglage aber fußläufig zum sehr romantischen Dorf Castellina mit hervorragenden Restaurants, Supermarkt etc. Für Hundebesitzer ist das Grundstück ideal: Viel Auslauf und komplett eingezäunt. F. ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und immer per WhatsApp erreichbar. Leider hatten wir Ende September 2024 nicht so schönes Wetter und extrem viele Mücken (Mückenschutz mitbringen!)

We stayed during late September and the weather was not always kind to us (cold, rainy). However, we loved being so close to the village and it's many restaurants. The facilities were good but could do with a little face-lift and refit. For example, we found an ironing board but no iron (not a problem for us really) and the kitchen tap had become very wobbly. The host was very friendly and being able to chat with him via WhatsApp proved useful several times.

Das Haus liegt in Alleinlage unterhalb von Castellina in Chianti. Absolut ruhig und ungestört. Gleichwohl ist man zu Fuß in kaum mehr als 5 min im Ort. Das Haus ist sauber und schön eingerichtet, Terasse und Freisitz sind sehr schon. Der Pool ist mit 6m Länge zwar klein, um sich im Sommer zu erfrischen und mit Kindern zu planschen aber vollkommen ausreichend. Wer ein Haus für bis zu 4 Personen sucht, ist hier perfekt untergebracht.
