Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (chinoise, cheese)). Heating. Natural stone floors. Balcony 7 m2, balcony 3 m2, south facing position. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains and the ski run. Facilities: Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: suitable for families. Non-smokers only.

Apartment block "Schoneggacher". Above Wengen, 300 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position. In the house: central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, grocery, supermarket 400 m, restaurant 200 m, bar, bakery 400 m, 7 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.4 km, railway station "Wengen", outdoor swimming pool 400 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 400 m, slopes 20 m. Please note: car-free holiday complex. In case of good snow conditions, the house is accessible on skis. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes travel time.

1'274 m a.s.l. >>Famous, idyllic, car-free holiday resort with 1'300 inhabitants, on top of a hill, situated at the foot of a mountain, on a plateau with beautiful view, 12 km from Interlaken, 15 km from Grindelwald. In the resort: shops, grocery, bakery, post office, bank, restaurant, night club, cinema. Wellness centre. Besides: doctor. Sights Männlichen, Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, Trümmelbachfälle, Schynige Platte, Harder, First. Access: no access to the resort by car, reachable only by railway. The journey is made by rack railway (extra) from Lauterbrunnen. Parking spaces available at the train station.

Summer

Heated outdoor swimming pool. Tennis (2 outdoor courts). Minigolf. Paragliding. Mountain lifts, cableways, hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing, children's hiking paths. Mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground.

Ski-region Jungfrau-Top Ski Region, total of 43 lifts. Total 213 km ski runs (30 % easy, 50 % intermediate, 20 % difficult), snow park. Ski school (downhill), snowboard school, children's ski school, ski kindergarten. Winter walking paths 50 km. 4 toboggan runs. Artificial ice rink, curling. Free parking space for skis and ski boots at Central Sport.

Stayed here with my parents on a ski trip, and it was exceptional. We were able to ski-in/ski-out right from the apartment, making it super convenient at the start and end of each day. The apartment is nicely furnished, and large for a 4-person apartment. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the common area in the evenings when hanging out. The property is a short walk away from the train station and co-op, making it easy to do our shopping, rent ski equipment, and catch the gondola or train.
