Kitchen (dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (chinoise, cheese)). Bath/WC, shower, sep. WC. Balcony 12 m2. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Old, simple apartment house "St. Martin", 6 storeys. In the district of Wiesti, 700 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny, elevated position, south-west facing position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Stepped path (70 steps) to the house. Supermarket 700 m, restaurant 100 m, bakery 700 m, bus stop "Wiestibrücke" 300 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 700 m. Mountain railway 300 m, ski rental 300 m, ski bus stop, ski school, children's ski school 900 m. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. Please note: the keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt. Additional accommodations can be booked.

Well-known, famous, car-free winter sports resort with 5'478 inhabitants, situated at the foot of the Mount Cervin with beautiful view, 34 km south from Visp. In the resort: supermarket, grocery, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, bar, disco, museum, cinema. Glacier, hiking, electrocab available in town, indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, massage. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Lakes nearby.

Summer

Bathing lake. Tennis (1 outdoor court, 1 indoor court), golf course 9 hole in Täsch 6 km. Minigolf. Fitness course. Summer skiing. Paragliding, beach volleybally court. Mountain lifts, 400 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing. 80 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground, leisure park. In May and June, lorries are allowed in Zermatt because of building season. In these months, it is slightly noisier than during the rest of the year, when Zermatt is car-free.

Ski-region Matterhorn Ski Paradise, total of 57 lifts. 2 mountain lifts, 8 cableways, 11 cable cabins, 22 chair lifts, 14 drag lifts, 2 children's ski lifts. 70 ski runs, total length 350 km (21 % easy, 62 % intermediate, 18 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school from 6 years old, ski kindergarten from 4 years old. 17 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 45 km. 1 toboggan run. Natural ice rink, artificial ice rink, curling, indoor tennis centre. Ski bus (free of charge). Further ski-regions: Cervinia.

We enjoyed the apartment- easy walk to town and a well stocked kitchen. We came into town late - rocks on the track delayed the Glacier Express. The directions to the apartment are weak, at best. Unlike ALL the other buildings in the area the St. Martin building is not marked, nor are the streets. Trust your GPS or you waste an hour trying to find the place. Todd

The apartment is a picture perfect one, comfortable and the balcony view is just unmatched - Matterhorn, the very trademark of Zermatt is looking right at you. But. The very tedious and VERY uphill walk to the apartment, with your skis and gear on, at the end of every skiing day is a bit trying for senior citizens. Anybody with any kind of health problems has to be aware.

A nice apartment with a new and appealing bathroom and very practical with both an extra toilet and shower in separate rooms. A small kitchen but with everything we needed, and a big living room and a nice terrace with a great view over the rooftops and all the way to Matterhorn. Recommended.

La cuisine est sous-équipée, un four incompréhensible et ne possédant aucun plat ou plaque adapté à sa taille pour cuire quoi que ce soit, pas de planche à pain, 1 unique linge à disposition, vraiment insuffisant pour une famille de 4 personnes. L'accès difficile à la maison n'est mentionné nulle part, pas évident avec une personne âgée. Bel espace de vie, relativement vieillot. Le 2e lit escamotable rend la 2e chambre très petite.

Wir haben drei Nächte in dieser Wohnung verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden, was es braucht. Ein separates Bad mit Badewanne und ein separates WC (eher klein), sowie eine separate Dusche. Es ist alles sehr sauber. Das Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten ist eher klein, aber wir sind nicht anspruchsvoll, daher kein Problem. In der Küche hat es neben einer Filterkaffeemaschine auch eine Nespressomaschine. Die Aussicht ist perfekt. Wer nicht so gut zu Fuss ist, hat vielleicht etwas Mühe mit den 70 Stufen.

Teppiche in Badezimmer, Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer sehr schmuddelig. Glühbirne in Schlafzimmer kaputt. Wohnungsempfehlung von A... für 2021 eine Katastrolhe. Hat trotz Wunsch nach Wohnung um 2000 Franken v.a. Wohnungen über 4000 vorgeschlagen und eine billigere in Spiess, obwohl ich explizit nicht dort eine Wohnung wollte.
